2016 Stallion Tender Scheme
When tendering, members are asked to choose their stallions carefully and to indicate their preferences for stallions very clearly. Please remember that our Stallion Tender Scheme is based on the fact that you are tendering on behalf of stated mare and that only one stallion can be allocated as the winning tender for any one mare. If a member should list several stallions in the preference for their stated mare, then even if the member bids are the highest for all indicated stallions, the member will only be awarded their first preference and the remaining tenders on behalf of that mare will be null and void.
- Members are reminded to be aware of the costs of agistment, veterinary items, foaling fees, floating fees, floating etc., which will need to be met during the season.
- It is the member’s responsibility to ensure these costs are known and able to be met prior to sending your mare to stud.
- Members are to be reminded of rule 10 (? ) – to avoid problems for our stallion donors.
- Our scheme offers a live foal guarantee with money back less $100 – on production of a veterinary certificate.
